Day 1: Arrival in São Gabriel da Cachoeira & Multi-Ethnic Discovery

Private transfer to the airport in Manaus for your flight. Upon arrival, meet your specialist host and transfer to Pousada Bawary. Explore the town’s unique multi-ethnic urban landscape and vibrant local markets showcasing ancestral products.

Day 2: Living Traditions & The Tuyuka Community

Travel by boat to a traditional indigenous community. Participate in the Dabukuri (welcoming ceremony) and learn about “Jungle-to-Table” gastronomy. Engage in daily activities, from manioc cultivation to ancestral food preparation with community leaders. Return to Pousada Bawary for the evening.

Day 3: Route of the Artisans & Koripako Dyeing Workshop

Discover the artisan markets where ancient ceramic and basketry techniques are preserved. In the afternoon, join the Areial Community (Koripako) for a hands-on workshop on natural plant fiber dyeing using seeds, roots, and leaves. Relaxing evening back at the Pousada Bawary.
