The modern corporate incentive guest doesn’t want to sit on a tour bus all day. They want to be active, engaged, and physically connected to the destination. But keeping 100 or more corporate guests active and engaged without creating logistical chaos requires a highly structured approach to group dynamics.
While some destinations like the Amazon are too logistically restricted for large groups due to room limits and travel times between isolated lodges, we pair the dramatic urban peaks of Rio de Janeiro with the close-knit, boutique structure of Fernando de Noronha.
In Rio, we avoid gathering the entire group of 100+ in a single location for active excursions. Instead, we split the team into distinct “activity cohorts” based on energy levels.
The Peak Track features a guided hike through the trails of the Tijuca Forest (the world’s largest urban rainforest) to hidden waterfalls and viewpoints overlooking the bay. The Ocean Track offers a private yacht charter sailing through Guanabara Bay, allowing guests to swim and relax with Sugarloaf Mountain as a backdrop. The Sunset Track features a private cable car ride up Sugarloaf Mountain for an exclusive sunset event and private dinner at the top with spectacular views of the city.
In Fernando de Noronha, the island’s layout allows us to book a cluster of 10 boutique pousadas close to one another, keeping the group connected while running synchronized island tracks.
Guests on the marine track enjoy a guided snorkeling session at Praia do Porto, a natural sanctuary for sea turtles, rays, and friendly marine life. For the sailing track, we charter private catamarans along the “mar de dentro” (inner sea) to watch spinner dolphins leap alongside the vessels, stopping for a swim at Baía dos Porcos. Finally, we bring the entire group of 100+ together for an exclusive sunset party at the famous Bar do Meio, celebrating the journey with live music and the best ocean views on the island.
