Complete Island Tour
Duration: ~8 hours
The first stop is at the Tamar Project. Here you will meet with a biologist from Tamar, for information about the Project and its work on the island. It is also the ideal time to buy a bottle of water and rent your snorkeling equipment. You will visit the Bay of Sancho, voted one of the best beaches in the world by TripAdvisor. Here the sand is very white and the sea crystal-clear. This is an ideal location for snorkeling.
Another destination you will visit is the Praia do Porto. There you will see the famous Buraco da Raquel, in addition to the Museum of Sharks with its complete collection of marine fauna of Fernando de Noronha. Then a stop at the Capela de São Pedro will give you one of the most beautiful views of the island while you get to know the history of the local fishermen.
In Southeast Bay, you can take advantage of the rich marine biodiversity to get closer to nature. You will be able to snorkel in the company of large sea turtles and sharks. Mirante da Praia do Leão will be another location with an enchanting view. Heading to Cacimba do Padre you will come across Morro Dois Irmãos (two brothers hill), perhaps the most famous rock formation in Brazil. Cacimba’s waves attract surfers from all over the world, making it one of the most famous beaches on the island. Arriving at Baia dos Porcos (bay of pigs), the highlight is the coral reefs that are full of colorful fish. TripAdvisor has chosen Baia dos Porcos as the 5th best beach in South America.
At the end of the tour, you will be able to experience a wonderful sunset. This unforgettable scene takes place at Mirante do Boldró. Make sure that your camera is still has a charge.
