Corcovado and Pao de Acucar Tours – Full Day Tour Corcovado Mountain and Christ the Redeemer
Duration: 8 to 9 hours
From anywhere in the city, visitors can see the most beautiful postcard of Rio de Janeiro: Christ the Redeemer on Corcovado Mountain. This statue is at the altitude of 710 meters above sea level. It was inaugurated in 1931 and is the hottest tourist spot in the city. The tour begins in the Cosme Velho neighborhood, where you will take the famous Corcovado Train or tourist vans which travel through the Tijuca Rain Forest with wonderful panoramic views of the largest urban forest in the world.
In this really charming tour, Rio de Janeiro urbanism and its exuberant nature come together. From the feet of Christ the Redeemer, visitors will discover the best panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro, including the Guanabara Bay, the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. At the end of the visit to the Christ, we’ll go down the Corcovado by Train or by the vans to the same place of embarkation.
Next is the Sugarloaf Mountain with City Tour.
