Cultural Tours – Tour “Africa, Samba, and Carnival” with Samba Circle
A cultural tour through the hidden corners of Rio. The tour starts at Plaza Maua, the scene of the festivities during the Olympic Games, followed by the square known as “Cais do Valongo”, an important point in Rio’s history, where slave ships from Africa arrived, continuing through the suspended gardens of Valongo, the Castle Peak, the Church of Santa Luzia, and ending at the “Pedra de Sal”, the meeting point of sambistas, ideal to watch and take part dancing in a samba circle.
