A tour to visit the venues that started this 100% Brazilian musical rhythm. Bossa Nova is a Brazilian musical genre of the late 50s, launched by composers such as João Gilberto, Tom Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes, among other young composers who resided in the southern area of Rio de Janeiro (beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana). This particular genre, derived from Samba with a jazz influence, was at first a way of singing and playing samba, later reformulated as a musical aesthetic of urban carioca samba. The tour goes through the Bossa Nova Shopping, the statue of Tom Jobim, the street Vinicius de Moraes, the Champ Elysse Building and the famous Beco das Garrafas bar, all scenarios that helped create the Bossa Nova genre.
